Geneva Lake Manor is a not-for-profit, highly respected provider of short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. We have a reputation for providing quality care to seniors in surrounding communities for more than 40 years The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) will provide patient/resident care consistent with each resident's comprehensive resident assessment and plan of care, as required under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse. A CNA completes assigned tasks to ensure timely, efficient, and safe patient/resident care. Communication and interactions with patients, residents, families, and other health team members are essential components of this position. Shift differentials and competitive pay are offered. Nursing Schedule: Geneva Lake Manor has three different shifts to choose from: AM Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, PM Shift 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, and Noct Shift 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM. QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Must have current Wisconsin Nursing Aid Certification in good standing Must have good communication skills Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Previous experience providing personal care to impaired individuals in a health care setting CPR certified License/Certification: CPR Certification (Preferred) CNA License (Required) ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB, DEPARTMENTAL EXPECTATIONS: Performs initial and ongoing data collection on all patients/residents under the direction of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse Implements a plan of care based on patient/resident physical, psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs Provides direct patient/resident care and reports condition and changes to RN or LPN Demonstrates knowledge of, and respect for the rights, dignity, and individuality of each resident in all interactions Interacts effectively with individuals who are cognitively and/or physically impaired Actively maintains the confidentiality of resident and facility information Demonstrates respect for co-workers and responds to the needs of residents by complying with facility policies on attendance and punctuality Has a working knowledge and ability to comply with facility policies on attendance and procedures, application of universal precautions for bloodborne pathogens, use of personal protective equipment, and handling of hazardous materials Demonstrates time management and prioritization of tasks Other duties: Completes all other duties as assigned.
