MAJOR JOB DUTIES: Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assisting supervisor to ensure bidding procedures are followed in compliance with procurement goals.
• Communicating with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
• Ensuring quality and quantity of received goods compared to purchase order and takes action, if necessary.
• Communicating regularly with supervisor, and internal customers.
• Focusing on continuous improvement of quality assets and services.
• Managing and maintaining product sourcing and bid searching.
• Assisting in cost control and savings program.
• Ensuring that all products are transferred correctly, and documentation is maintained using departmental software system.
• Participating in continuing product and systems trainings.
• Communicating all pertinent information to supervisor and the internal customers.
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned.
• Ensures the financial delivery of the agreed upon savings goals to be established for each functional area within procurement.
• Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to the Regional Director of Procurement.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.

EXPERIENCE: 3 years years buying, expediting, and other directly related purchasing and hospitality experience required.

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED

SKILLS: Good organizational skills. Knowledge of basic and intermediate math. General knowledge of purchasing procedures. Must have the ability to work with co-workers and management. Full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules, policies, and procedures. Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English. Strong MMS/Stratton Warren skills. Ability to form strong vendor relationships.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE: Gaming Registration.Valid drivers license
