Our client, an established Environmental Consulting Firm in California, is in search of a Senior Environmental Planner/Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of environmental planning, including business development, research, fieldwork, impact analysis, and the preparation of reports related to CEQA/NEPA and associated technical studies.

Overview of Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation of complex CEQA/NEPA documents
Lead business development efforts, which include proposal preparation and active participation in planning and environmental organizations.
Provide guidance and training to junior staff on CEQA/NEPA and other planning/environmental requirements.
Liaise with clients and deliver public presentations to agency decision-making bodies.
Conduct agency consultations and ensure compliance with environmental regulatory requirements.
Showcase decision-making expertise and be recognized by clients and peers as a specialist in CEQA/NEPA and related technical areas.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree in environmental science or a related discipline, with an advanced degree preferred.
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience working in California, with experience in a private environmental consulting firm considered a plus.
Strong skills in writing, presentation, and communication.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary team.
Proficiency in schedule and budget management.
Willingness to travel as projects require.
Strong client relationship management skills.
Problem-solving mindset with a results-oriented approach.

Compensation:

The base salary for this position falls within the range of $90,000 to $130,000, and it includes a comprehensive benefits package and potential bonuses.
