Bio-Techne, and all of its brands, provides tools for researchers to further treat and prevent disease worldwide.** **Position Summary:** The Buyer is responsible for direct and indirect material purchasing, forecasting, and inventory management to support day-to-day operations. Essential to this role is an ability to leverage Supply Chain and ERP expertise in a regulated environment to ensure compliance by leveraging supplier relationships, material management, and replenishment planning. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS** + Manages the purchase and production plan to ensure inventory supply through the analysis of consumption, reorder points and order quantities. + Maintain a forecast and safety stock levels.
