POSITION SUMMARY

This position will be responsible for research and analysis of tax compliance processes/to create and maintain direct, indirect and payroll tax compliance workflows. In addition, the position will assure compliance with federal, state and local tax laws, rules and regulations through collaboration with tax department partners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Gather and process information used to prepare tax returns, with a focus on improving the process and quality of the data by using various data tools. * Participate in defining and developing the tax department's data and automation roadmap, in support of a wider finance initiative around digitalization and transformation. * Project support for implementation and maintenance of tax engines and other tax software platforms (i.e. Vertex Q Series and Vertex O-Series) * Assist with preparation and processing of tax payment. * Independently complete ad hoc tax data research and analysis activities; present and communicate insights to management. * Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. * 3-5 years related experience working in a corporate finance position or tax department. Focus on analyzing data, presentation of information and process improvement is a plus. * Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel and ability to work across multiple workbooks. * Skilled in Power Bi, OneStream, Tableau, Alteryx or other data wrangling and reporting tools * Excellent listening, verbal, and written communications skills. * Ability to work independently as well as facilitate and collaborate in a team environment. * General knowledge of US tax law regulations, rulings, and procedures

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
