COME BUILD YOUR CAREER WITH VIBRA HEALTHCAREWe are seeking a Health Information Management Manager/Director to join ourteamHospital Details Vibra Hospital of Central Dakotas, located in Mandan, ND is a 41 bedCritical Care Hospital, providing long-term acute care services to patientsrecovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients requireadditional critical care services for medically complex conditions such astrauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease,stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specializedhospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly workenvironment where you really get to know your patients and their families. Responsibilities Responsible for directing and overseeing all functions of the HealthInformation Management Department, ensuring regulatory and legal compliance.Serves as the Facility Privacy Officer where applicable.Required Skills:Associate's Degree required.Current, valid, and active RHIT or RHIA Certification by the AmericanHealth Management Information Association required.Minimum five (5) years of increasing responsibility in a HealthInformation Management position required.Minimum one (1) year of supervisor and/or managerial level experiencerequired.Acute care hospital experience required.Additional Qualifications/Skills:Knowledge of health information management programs preferred, includingmedical terminology, ICD-10 CM coding, CPT coding, transcription, andpolicies and procedures of releasing medical information to include HIPAAregulKnowledge of Federal, State, the Joint Commission and CARF requirementspreferred.Ability to gather, analyze, and report data and trends.Comprehensive knowledge of confidentiality and privacy laws preferred.Program design and implementation skills preferred.Ability to lead diverse teams to a common purpose and proactively seek newideas and solutions to organizational challenges.Exemplary customer service, communication and interpersonal skills preferred.Demonstrated positive influences on teams and customers including awillingness to proactively accept changeDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationappropriately.Ability to project a professional image.Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in theworkplace.Benefits At Vibra Healthcare, employees are our priority.
