All while understanding that **together** we are even better.**Schedule:** The weekend would be the 4 th weekend Friday 2-1030 (8- hour) & Saturday 6p-630a (12 -hour) There’s always open shifts available to pick-up.**Shift** : PRN**Location:** AdventHealth Bolingbrook Hospital**The role you’ll contribute:**Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists.**The value you’ll bring to the team:**+ Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.+ Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.+ Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.+ Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.+ Assists in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.Qualifications**The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:**+ Graduate of a 2-year allied health program preferred.+ BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.+ Radiology Technician credentialed from the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required+ Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) preferred.+ CT experience preferred.This facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
