We are looking for the position of
SIE HANDELN
Implementing global IP strategy for the Italian entity;
Identification and (coordination of) invalidation of competitors' intellectual property rights in collaboration with external patent attorneys;
Processing and assessing invention reports, including research of the prior art;
Coordination of the drafting, examination and enforcement of patents in collaboration with external patent attorneys;
Patent approval of our products with regard to third party property rights (FTOs);
Supporting the SMS IP Headquarter in Germany in case of patent law suits.
SIE WISSEN
You have successfully completed a technical degree and, ideally, a degree in patent engineering.
What is important to us:
Ideally several years of professional experience within industrial patent departments and/or patent law firms;
Knowledge of intellectual property law;
Structured, independent way of working, strong analytical skills, economically focused and goal-oriented thinking and acting;
Confident demeanor and the ability to present complex technical issues in an understandable manner;
Ability to work in a team, high level of commitment and flexibility;
Ideally knowledge of relevant patent information and patent management systems (CPA, PatSnap, WinPad, PatOrg, Xpat, or similar);
Very good knowledge of Italian and English, both spoken and written.
