Professional Technical are currently on the search for a Quality Control Manager in the Newark, New Jersey location. Our client are a leader within the retail merchandising solutions sector. As a Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for the setting and inspecting the quality of incoming materials, work in progress and finished goods to ensure the succession of a controllable and high-quality system that results to the profitability of our client and satisfaction from their customers.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager who has extensive experience working across cross-functional teams; engineering, manufacturing, vendors, account executives and customers.

We are looking for candidates who possess the following: Strong organizational skills and have the capability of prioritizing work and handling numerous projects simultaneously Familiarity with common manufacturing processes Sound interpretation of engineering drawings and subsequent development of QC Inspection documents Experience in the selection and use of QC tools

Key Requirements

To be a credible candidate for this Quality Manager vacancy, you will need to satisfy the following minimum requirements:

Be able to write and manage QC Procedures. Assist with the implementation of Bar Code QA program. On-site inspection of work in process and final assemblies. Review of incoming materials for conformance to purchasing, engineering and aesthetic specifications. Management of the execution of First Part Approval procedure. Creation of Inspection Criteria for sub-assemblies and finished goods. Inspection of sub-assembles and finished goods
