Vice President of Recruiting, Healthcare Staffing - Hybrid, Irving TX
Our client, the leading provider-centric staffing firm, that serves as a trusted advisor both to providers and organizations competing for scarce clinical talent is in need of a Vice President of Recruiting. This role sits in Irving, Texas, and is a Hybrid Position.
The VP of Recruiting is responsible for the overall locum recruiting execution within Our client. This includes overall responsibility for: achieving profit results consistent with forecast/expectations, effectively providing direction to recruiting leaders on the recruiting process and tools including recruiting goals, recruiter training, CRM utilization, and recruiter performance, and leading, directing, and developing recruiting leaders.
Essentail Duties And Responsibilities
Provide direction to specialty team recruiting leaders on holding team members accountable and improving overall department performance
Demonstrate the ability to communicate, present material and information to others, and influence credibly at all levels of the organization.
Partner with sales leadership to ensure alignment between recruiting and sales, optimizing resource allocation.
Collaborate with executive-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans. Execute those specific goals and plans.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring adherence to financial targets and resource allocation.
Build trust, value others, drive execution, foster innovation, focus on the customer, collaborate with others, solve problems creatively and demonstrate high integrity.
Coordinates with marketing to determine and maintain ROI with provider lead generation.
Develop and implement effective business strategies to drive growth, profitability, and market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally, including healthcare facilities, fellow leadership, and professional organizations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalency in work experience or education required.
Minimum 6-10 years of experience in a recruiting leadership role (with at least 4 or more direct reports) in the staffing industry, locum staffing is preferred.
Strong proficiency with CRM and management of recruiting pipeline.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet .
Ability to travel to various locations (e.g., customer sites, other company offices) as needed.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with others.
Cooperative, team-oriented, patient, calm under pressure.
Ability to produce results within an autonomous environment, within company guidelines and have the flexibility to identify and respond to changes in priorities.
Ability to demonstrate success working in a fast-paced, highly competitive, deadline-oriented environment.
Self-motivated with exhibited sense of urgency in all recruiting activity.
Exceptional communication, presentation, follow-up, negotiation, and closing skills. Strong emphasis on listening skills.
Ability to develop teams and work effectively in team environments.
Strong leadership skills, initiative and creativity with the ability to identify and convey successful techniques and approaches.
