Housekeeper II 32 Hours 2nd Shift Every other Weekend Day Kimball Healthcare is Hiring Housekeeper 2 Job Title: Housekeeper 2 Department: Environmental Services Housekeeper 2 Job Summary: According to established procedures cleans and services building areas. Moves furniture, equipment, and supplies, in and around hospital departments, and performs a variety of environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a neat, orderly, and sanitary condition.Housekeeper 2 Essential Responsibilities: Project work on floors using automatic floor equipment. Total patient room cleaning following established procedures. Moves equipment and furniture for relocation of offices, for cleaning and rearrangement. Trash removal and recycling. May collect hazardous/medical waste. Clean entrances and parking lot of debris and trash. Provides on-call coverage for weekends and holidays as scheduled. Responds to emergency codes.Housekeeper 2 Education Requirements: High School Diploma or GED preferred. Housekeeper 2 Experience Requirements: Prior experience performing cleaning operations in a hospital, industrial or office setting, with minimum three months training preferred. Housekeeper 2 Environmental Conditions: Work in an environment where there is limited physical discomfort due to noise, heat, dust, chemical fumes and the like. Works with chemicals that are potentially harmful if proper precautions are not used.
