Job Title:

Access Control Point Project Manager

TeamGov, Inc.

is looking to hire an Access Control Point (ACP) Project Manager which will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects related to access control points and security systems. The candidate will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of access control systems to ensure the security and safety of the organization's facilities.

Responsibilities:

Project Planning:

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, tasks, and resource allocation.

Identify and engage key stakeholders and project team members.

Project Execution:

Lead project teams in the installation and maintenance of access control systems.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of equipment.

Monitor project progress and address any issues or roadblocks.

Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations and standards.

Budget Management:

Develop and manage project budgets, including cost estimates and expenses.

Control project costs and ensure adherence to the approved budget.

Risk Management:

Identify potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.

Implement security measures to protect project assets and data.

Quality Control:

Ensure that access control systems meet quality and security standards.

Conduct inspections and quality checks on installed systems.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, reports, and records.

Prepare progress reports for project stakeholders.

Team Leadership:

Provide leadership and direction to project team members.

Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.

Client Communication:

Communicate project status, milestones, and issues to clients and senior management.

Address client inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Security Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.

Proven experience as a project manager, especially in security or access control projects.

Strong knowledge of access control systems, security protocols, and technologies.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53).

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in project management software and tools.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

minimum of five (5) years of experience in the field of maintenance and repair of ACP equipment and/or electrical-mechanical experience
