As a Barista you will be responsible for educating customers on our drinks and food menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items while providing outstanding customer service. If you are someone who knows everything there is to know about COFFEE, Belmont Park, the beach and having a great time - we want you to join our team

Note: This position is temporary and will end on October 8th,2023.

What will you do:
  • Welcoming customers, informing them about specials or new items, answering questions, and accepting orders and payments.
  • Maintains a calm demeanor and works with a sense of urgency during peak times.
  • Provides quality beverages and food products consistently for all guests by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
  • Anticipates guest and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
  • Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work space so that other team members can locate resources and product as needed.
  • Taking inventory and replenishing items in display cases, and behind the counter.
  • Cleaning and restocking work and dining patio, emptying trash, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.
  • Updating signage and displays to attract customers throughout the day's offerings.
  • Follows operational policies and procedures, including cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all team members during each shift.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by management.

Requirements

What are the requirements?
  • Barista Experience Preferred ( at least one year)
  • Ability to perform tasks with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail.
