You should be adept at collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure portfolio alignment with strategic objectives and translating business needs into actionable portfolio pipelines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are crucial, as well as the ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders. Experience in the financial industry, particularly in the mortgage sector, is preferred, and you should be comfortable operating independently to shape business problems and drive strategic analysis.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

In this role, you will support the overall portfolio management processes within the Agile Portfolio Management Office (APMO) by assisting in the analysis, discovery, and reporting of project portfolios. You will collaborate closely with business partners and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals while utilizing Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage intake processes, portfolio data, and workflows. You will conduct intake analysis for new initiatives, develop Lean Business Cases based on your findings, and facilitate forums with stakeholders to drive informed decision-making. Your responsibilities will also include prioritizing efforts using Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) frameworks, managing and reporting portfolio metrics, and translating business needs into a structured portfolio pipeline. Throughout all these activities, you will maintain an agile product management mindset, effectively communicate your findings and recommendations to stakeholders, and work independently to shape and analyze business problems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong skills in data analysis
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other technology-related field or equivalent number of years of experience
  • Proficiency in product and portfolio analysis.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) for portfolio management, metrics, dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively to various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies and project management practices. Knowledge of SAFe Scaled Agile will be an advantage.
  • Knowledge and experience in Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Support overall portfolio management processes within the Agile Portfolio Management Office (APMO).
  • Assist in the analysis, discovery and reporting of project portfolios.
  • Collaborate with business, cross-functional teams to ensure portfolio alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps (ADO) to manage intake process, portfolio data and workflows.
  • Conduct intake analysis for new efforts and initiatives.
  • Facilitate forums related to intake management and intake analysis with requestors, governance and solution leads.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate problems, opportunities, business value and alignment with strategic goals.
  • Develop Lean Business Cases based on intake analysis and discovery.
  • Assist in prioritization of efforts based on LPM frameworks
  • Manage and report portfolio metrics related to intake management
