Maintenance Mechanic II - 2nd Shift Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic II - 2nd Shift to join our team in South Milwaukee, WI The hourly rate for this position is $34.50 per hour plus a $2.50 per hour shift premium. The core hours are 2:30 pm to 10:30 pm. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. In this function, you will: Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning machines, equipment, and small tools/parts. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure proper operation. Makes necessary adjustments or repairs. Perform building maintenance, such as painting, plumbing, and carpentry. Assist in maintaining an in-house wastewater treatment facility. Operate various industrial vehicles used in material/machine moving/rigging. Assist in installation and relocation involving machines and equipment Perform simple electrical maintenance activities Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records. Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhere to all facility environmental, health & safety guidelines, encourage communication, and participate with co-workers to further identify, reduce and eliminate potential hazards Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications: High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum of five (5) years of recent industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience. Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. Preferred Qualifications: Technical college certification in industrial maintenance from an accredited institution Prior maintenance experience with industrial furnaces Prior maintenance experience in an injection molding operation Previous Military mechanical repair experience Skills: Knowledge in PLC, circuitry, and programming.
