The Behavioral Intervention Specialist provides direct care, supervision, monitoring, and interaction to students in a school based or educational setting, under the supervision of School Based Services Manager. Helps monitor and maintain a safe classroom and utilizes therapeutic communication skills.The ideal Behavioral Intervention Specialist candidate is someone who:Passionate about mental health Enjoys teaching social skills and emotional regulationAble to work with patients of all different backgroundsCan be a role model to students and provide individualized careExcited about serving Montana's youth This is an excellent opportunity for anyone on an Education or Social Work career/higher education track It's a great entry point into social work and mental health for those in school or considering pursuing a career.
