We strive to hire a top notch dental assistant. An ideal candidate would have at least two years of dental assisting experience and a passion for oral hygiene. We are looking for a rockstar with a positive, upbeat attitude, willing to put in hard work and dedicated to achieving the team goal. This opportunity will require our assistant to hit the ground running from the start. Setting up the back office, which will include determining operational workflow, sterile room organization and collaboration with the team to provide an incredible service.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Assist with patient examinations and treatments, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Clinical Support: Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment; maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Radiology: Take dental X-rays as directed and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, schedule appointments, and handle billing and insurance processing.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and order dental supplies, ensuring all materials are readily available.
  • Education: Provide patients with post-treatment care instructions and oral hygiene education.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with dentists and other staff to ensure quality care and efficient operations.
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
Skills:
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on patient care.
  • Proficient in handling dental tools and equipment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety protocols.

This role is essential for ensuring a positive patient experience and supporting the overall efficiency of the dental practice.

Schedule: This is a part-time role. Days required are Thursdays and Fridays

Compensation: $22.00-$28.00/hr
