Overview:

Responsible for managing the daily workflow and coordination of creative production for marketing and advertising, both internally & externally. Ensures projects and campaigns are executed, on time, and on budget. Develops procedures to ensure efficient creative workflow. Responsible for communication between departments and branches with the creative marketing department. Monitors and reports on the resource allocation of department, overall workload, project list and additional marketing efforts.

Responsibilities:

1. Assumes responsibility for ensuring the coordination of creative projects.


2. Ensures deadlines are met to the best of ability for all marketing and advertising efforts.


3. Ensures that marketing functions are carried forward in accordance with established Credit Union procedures.


4. Conducts periodic reviews of workflow through creative marketing. Provides adjustments and recommendations for improvements of project management tools.


5. Evaluates and reports on the marketing department's projects and tasks.


6. Works with the Marketing Manager to keep on track with yearly budget and ensures the quality and cost effectiveness of all marketing activities.


7. Assists in monitoring marketing budget and coding expenses. Ensures department expenses are paid on time.


8. Ensures that marketing materials are coordinated to delivery channels and locations needed.


9. Keeps department and division informed of marketing activities, deadlines and of any significant issues.


10. Attends and participates in meetings as required.


11. Completes required reports and documents.


12. Provides leadership to marketing team through effectively balancing workloads and communicating. Directs, schedules, and coordinates department functions.


13. Assists and supports marketing personnel as needed.


14. Ensures that professional business relationships are established and maintained with members, branches & other departments, vendors, the business community, and trade organizations.


15. Ensures that requests and questions are promptly resolved.


16. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.


17. Ensures that work areas are clean, secure, and well maintained.


18. Completes special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

Training/Education/Certification:


Four-year related college degree.


Required Knowledge:


Experience in project management and creative coordination
Knowledge of and familiarity with the creative process for print, interactive and broadcast production
Knowledge of all credit union products, services, policies, and procedures.
Business and management knowledge.
Product and credit union industry knowledge.
Understanding of market analysis techniques and models.
Strong knowledge of statistics and related computer applications and financial and market indicators.
Knowledge of marketing and promotion techniques
Understanding Marketing basics


Experience Required:


Three or more years progressive experience in a related position, including experience with executing and coordinating the creative process for print, interactive and broadcast.
Creative, advertising, marketing, and communications experience.
