IntePros is seeking a Lead Application Developer for one of our client's, a leading health insurance provider, in the greater Philadelphia market place. This role does have onsite responsibilities.

Lead Application Developer

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Application Developer with 7+ years of professional software development experience to join our team. As a Lead Application Developer, you will play a crucial role in analyzing, designing, modifying, building, and deploying applications. You will lead design reviews, devise solutions to address issues and bugs, and ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications. This role requires strong leadership abilities, advanced technical expertise in Microsoft Technology stack, and a deep understanding of .NET Technologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading development teams, driving solutions to completion, and delivering high-quality software solutions within committed timeframes and budgets.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze, design, modify, build, and deploy applications.
  • Lead design reviews and ensure adherence to design standards.
  • Translate business problems and user stories into functional applications.
  • Ensure projects are completed within committed timeframes and budgets.
  • Create detail design artifacts and technical documentation.
  • Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solution.
  • Devise solutions to mitigate issues, bottlenecks, and bugs.
  • Maintain code quality and enforce coding standards.
  • Work across multiple applications and allocate time appropriately to meet assigned deadlines.
  • Assist in post-implementation support and system enhancements.
  • Define system content, structure, and flows.
  • Work within all outlined BTS policies for application support and development with emphasis on security standards.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent knowledge acquired by work experience and training.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in systems analysis, programming, and design.
  • Advanced development skills in ASP.NET; C#; XML, MVC, REST, SOAP, Web services.
  • Very good knowledge of .NET Technologies, advanced knowledge ASP.NET Core 3.0, and strong debugging skills.
  • Familiar with Angular, JavaScript, Oracle, SQL Server, Visual Studio Developer, SSIS, SSRS, Azure.
  • Understanding of DEVOPS Delivery Pipeline and methods to review and eliminate NEXUSIQ and SONARQUBE security vulnerabilities within Quality gate standards.
  • Familiarity with package managers like NPM, BOWER, NUGET.
  • Familiar with performance, scalability, security, and testing applications.
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns.
  • Familiar with Agile application development methodology.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead development teams and drive solutions to completion.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to plan and build technical project schedules that get work done on time and on budget.
