Position Summary: Under direction of the Director of Recruitment, the District Recruiter serves as a vital member in achieving the recruitment goals of Tulsa Public Schools by assisting in the research, development, and implementation of effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified applicants for the District.

Education

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in education, public administration, human resources management, business, management science, operations research, organizational behavior, a closely related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

Three (3) years of experience in project management or closely related field including recruitment, project management techniques and tools, group organization, communication, material preparation, candidate cultivation, task management, and cost/benefit financial analysis Knowledge of human resources, legal or employment processes and procedures in educational settings Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and human resource information systems

Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, Etc.

Technology skills in Microsoft Office Suites and Google Drive Familiarity with recruitment systems such as Glassdoor, Indeed, etc. Prefer experience with Fountain, MUNIS, and PowerSchool Proficient in Spanish is a plus
