Wind River Family & Community Health Care - Intake Specialist Location: White Buffalo Recovery Center, Riverton, Wyoming Responsibilities: Collect client data to assist with the admission process and ensure all forms are properly signed and filed. Process paperwork for new clients efficiently and in accordance with policy and procedures, including all intake paperwork and releases of information. Screen clients for alternative health resources and benefits; verify 3rd party payers. Screen clients for further assessment of substance use disorders utilizing a Simple Screening Instrument of Substance Abuse. Answer and screen inquiry calls from prospective clients. Upload all information into the electronic health record (EHR) system, ACCUCARE. Conduct initial drug/alcohol screening, as needed. Maintain professional standards of conduct and model recovery-type behavior. Adhere to NAADAC Code of Ethics, as well as policies and procedures.
