Project Manager / Sales Metal Processing Industry We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager / Sales professional to join a leading organization in the metal processing industry. This is a dynamic role that combines project coordination, customer service, and inside sales, supporting custom fabrication projects from initial quote through delivery. About the Role The Project Manager / Sales Representative will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, managing all aspects of the quoting and order process. You'll interpret fabrication drawings, prepare accurate quotes using in-house software, and coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Review and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings for parts and assemblies Prepare customer quotes by calculating material, labor, and freight costs Manage incoming orders, ensuring accuracy and on-time completion Communicate effectively with internal departments to track project progress Build and maintain relationships with customers to support ongoing business Negotiate pricing and resolve order-related issues when needed Prioritize multiple customer demands while maintaining a high level of service Qualifications Required: Experience reading and interpreting blueprints or fabrication drawings Proficiency with CAD-related programs (for navigation, not design) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word Positive, solutions-oriented mindset with a drive to succeed Must be a U.S. Citizen Preferred: Prior experience in metal, fabrication, plastics, wood, or equipment industries Background in sales, estimating, or project management Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field Why This Opportunity?
