Senior FP&A Analyst

Our client is a rapidly expanding company based in Scottsdale, Arizona and we are seeking a Senior FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving strategic financial decision-making. Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate forecasts and budgets.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial performance, variances, and trends to provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed financial forecasts, incorporating market trends, business drivers, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making, provide financial guidance, and drive performance improvements.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and scenario planning.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to senior leadership, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as requested by management, providing timely and accurate insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with financial planning software/tools preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence decision-making.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving environment, with a high level of adaptability and resilience.
