Responsibilities:
  • Managing financial operations of multiple entities and developing internal control guidelines.
  • Coordinating and directing budgeting, procurement, investment activities, and financial planning.
  • Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
  • Creating and assessing financial reports, offering valuable insights and suggestions to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and risk analysis.
  • Facilitating the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring that deadlines are met, and financial statements are precise.
  • Guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Providing support to management, particularly in commercial and financial matters.
  • Being responsible for the company general ledger.
  • Supporting tax filings and working closely with external tax advisors on compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA or CMA preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of Controller or Accounting Manager experience with a proven track record of success in financial operation management is required.
  • Ability to deliver quality work on tight deadlines, with strong organization and priority setting skills.
  • Must be able to communicate financial information into sound business language so people of all levels can understand.
  • Possess a proactive 'can-do' mindset and adaptability to navigate challenges.
