This position will assist the Human Resources Department Management in the day-to-day operations of the employment and training office. We are currently looking for a: Adventureland Park - HR Clerk Roles & Responsibilities: Assist with daily tasks in the Human Resources Department Answer and direct calls at the reception desk Assist the Employee Base where employees will go for help with general issues Help prepare and process HR paperwork Make photocopies and help with the organization of documents Help plan and execute fun social activities Sit in as a witness on disciplinary proceedings to learn how to handle workplace conflicts Assist the HR Director in overseeing the exchange student program Identify new opportunities for program improvement Cooperate with management and the department heads to accomplish tasks Assist with addressing any concerns that employees may have Learn about compliance and regulations that HR departments deal with Other duties as assigned Requirements: Education: Preferred Areas of Study: Business Management, Hospitality Management, Human Resources, Event Management, General Business; Social Science; Human Services, English as a Second Language, Foreign Language, and any Major that deals with people or leadership. Languages: Bilingual preferred Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stress Excellent listening skills Ability to be flexible and adapt to quick changing circumstances Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to be patient and understanding Independent, resourceful worker Strong time management skills Able to work weekends and holidays Lift and carry up to 50 pounds Experience in cash handling and team leadership is preferred Experience: General office experience preferred; but not required.
