Our client near the Wisconsin/Illinois border is in the middle of a D365 (F&O) greenfield implementation and is seeking a Technical Data Architect in a full-time capacity to lead the migration and continue to support the environment after implemenation (March 2025). Requirements: • Must have over 10 years of IT or D365 experience with specific experience guiding data migration efforts • Ideal candidates will have experience with F&O specific migrations/data sources • Ability to work with both Business and Partner technical teams is essential • Evaluate the current state of data in the source systems and then drive transferring the data accurately and securely, ensuring all elements are included. • Understanding the data structure in both source and target systems and working with the team to extract the necessary information, and map it appropriately. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and part of a team are very important for this role. • Work closely with business/IT subject matter experts to derive data extraction and mapping requirements from overall business requirements. • Ensure that extracts are thorough and accurate. • Develop process to clean up data inconsistencies in preparation for load into target system. • Develop playbook that standardizes the data migration approach including working with Business/IT leads on a validation and approval process.
