Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Electrophysiology Technician Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 14 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: Electrophysiology Technologist - EP Tech Radiology Cardiology Job Details: • Work in electrophysiology lab performing cardiac procedures and monitoring • Some days may require staying over late beyond scheduled shift • Weekend coverage required every other weekend • No call responsibilities • Float within facility and scope of practice as needed • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Daily census of 14-20 patients per day in 4-room facility • Minimum 1 year of experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers • Maximum 7 days of requested time off allowed • Holiday work required based on assignment period (work major holidays if they fall during assignment) • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, CCI RCES, CCI RCIS • Skills include cardiac ablation, cardioversion, diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, hemodynamic monitoring, pacemaker insertion, and complex procedures • Epic charting system experience preferred • Community hospital, Trauma Level I and II experience preferred • Georgia or Compact state license required at time of submission • Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of contract signing Facility: This major healthcare system operates a comprehensive cardiac services program with advanced electrophysiology capabilities.
