Job Description **SUMMARY:**

Monitor AGV activities using the following programs: ETRICC, WINTEGRATE/AccuTerm (PICK) and MapLoader systems. Coordinate activities and work schedules of AGV Attendants and AGV Team Leaders. Promote safety in the workplace. Follow all safety rules, and recognizes and corrects unsafe work conditions.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Coordinates activities of AGV Attendants and AGV Team Leads for their shifts.

* This position is responsible to lead, train, and hold accountable AGV Attendants and AGV Team Leaders

* Works with IT, production, maintenance, and warehouse personnel to provide seamless material handling.

* Corrections to inventory using barcode scanners and the WINTEGRATE/AccuTerm (PICK) system. Job re-issue / cancellations and adjustments using barcode scanners and WINTEGRATE/AccuTerm (PICK) systems.

* Basic troubleshooting, logging and reporting of issues relating to the AGVs. Assists in coordinating of routine and non-routine maintenance for the AGVs through maintenance work orders.

* Manual Intervention and operation of the AGVs.

* Load position corrections and clean-up of spills.

* Maintenance of AGV OK markings / labeling.

* Timely response to inquiries on status.

* Respond to failed jobs and reset the information in WINTEGRATE/AccuTerm(PICK) system and adjust inventory appropriately.

* Directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.

* Issues written and oral instructions.

* Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates.

* Shuffles product based on the Open Sales Order Report, works with AGV maintenance to ensure vehicles are operating / running correctly, makes sure the day to day items are taken care of).

* Serves as primary point of contact with Dematic to resolve issues with the AGVs and/or related systems.

* Coordinate with Engineering to load map changes.

* Assists AGV team members on the floor when needed.

* Assists the Materials Manager on the hiring and review process.

* Trains AGV shift leads on daily job tasks and system fail over procedure and map changes.

* Manages product groups in the AGV warehouse and works to improve efficiencies.

* Maintains departmental metrics with the assistance of the AGV team.

* Identifies rack repair opportunities with the assistance of the shift leads.

* Will be certified on TSP, fall protection, and forklift training.

* Must follow all work rules and policies

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:**

GED or equivalent

One to three months related experience and/or training

Basic knowledge of the PICK system is preferred.

**COMPUTER SKILLS:**

Accurate data entry and typing skills. Computer literate with experience in WINTEGRATE, ETRICC, WORD AND EXCEL

**LANGUAGE SKILLS:**

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.

**MATHEMATICAL SKILLS**

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percentage.

**REASONING ABILITY:**

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock. The employee is frequently exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

The work environment can be a fast paced moving environment. The employee needs to be able to make quick decisions based on the information presented at the current time. This information can change based on situations / priorities many times throughout the course of a shift. All decisions made must foremost take into account any safety concerns. If the task is deemed to be unsafe, another method to complete the task needs to be identified before the task is started.
