Job Summary:
Our client in Dearborn, MI is looking for a Release Analyst. This is a contract position.
What You Will Do:
- Change Coordination Process
- Implement Global Change Coordination process via corporately mandated change coordination tools.
- Support change coordination meetings and process.
- Enforce change coordination process.
- Hold business owners accountable for delivering their inputs/deliverables/approvals.
- Alert about late tasks to business owners with due dates.
- Timing/Scheduling
- Facilitate (and document) change timing agreement between suppliers, PD, Finance, Manufacturing,
and Program coordination. - Own timing of change control steps, inputs, and approvals in line with agreed program/change timing.
- Schedule all change coordination tasks to achieve overall change approval/release timing.
- Facilitate (and document) change timing agreement between suppliers, PD, Finance, Manufacturing,
- Documentation
- WERS CR (ensure all required screens and fields are filled out to gain approvals).
- Document change timing.
- Identify and document all business owners tasks and approvers needed to complete change request.
- Complete 2-pager (program finance form) with input from finance, purchasing, PD, integration teams
to document average vehicle cost and impact to business. - Attach approved 2-pager to CR.
- Reporting
- CR/Notice status.
- Task list with Responsible Name and Due Date.
- Approvals
- Get Finance approval on 2-pager.
- Schedule/attend approval meetings/forums to gain required approvals if necessary.
- Track required approvals from all identified business owners.
- Support Change Control Continuous Improvement
- Propose process and tool improvement ideas to support R&R and process adherence.
- Report experiences and findings every quarter to GCM, Global Core Program Management, and Digital
Transformation teams.
