Senior Compliance Specialist Role: Senior Compliance Specialist Location: Remote | Serbia Schedule: 9AM-5PM Pacific Standard Time The Sr. Compliance Specialist works under general supervision and follows company and department policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Amazon policies and eCommerce regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include researching and assessing laws, regulations, and Amazon policies that govern eCommerce businesses to resolve compliance violations and mitigate revenue loss. Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) or Trainual content owner for multiple specialized department functions. Primary Responsibilities: Through the use of company and department practices and procedures, researches laws and regulations related to advertising, labeling, and selling consumer goods in interstate commerce, including FDA and EPA regulations Analyzes federal and state legislation, regulations, and policies, and provides actionable guidance to ensure compliance Discusses inconsistencies and solutions with the manager to ensure alignment with client and company requirements Communicates complex legal requirements in a concise manner to internal departments and clients Under manager supervision, drafts Amazon appeals, Plans of Action, and other documents to resolve compliance issues Works with internal departments to resolve compliance issues and develop strategies for preventing future cases Opens and manages new cases with Amazon Seller Support to resolve compliance issues Follows standard practices and procedures to determine the best response to seller account issues Stays updated on Amazon policies and legal requirements to enhance skills and expertise Acts as a key point of contact for managing and addressing daily requests from internal departments and company clients Represents the Compliance team in meetings and communications with clients, ensuring clear and consistent messaging on compliance-related matters Manages the preparation of documents for compliance investigations, including gathering and tracking all required documents Efficiently manages daily deliverables across multiple clients and categories, meeting accuracy, efficiency, quality control, and brand standards Maintains communication with the brand management team and department managers, researches regulatory requirements, and implements proactive measures to ensure the company and clients remain compliant Prepares compliance reports by analyzing data, identifying trends, and presenting findings Serves as a subject matter expert or Trainual content owner for multiple department-specific topics and provides guidance to team members Mentors junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring alignment with team objectives Maintains or exceeds department-established performance standards Other duties as assigned
