Groesbeck ISD is located 44 miles East of Waco and encompasses 528 square miles. Most of Groesbeck ISD is located in Limestone County, with small portions in Falls and Robertson Counties. GISD serves students in Groesbeck, Thornton, Kosse, and several communities within the district. The City of Groesbeck is centrally located and is approximately 1 hours from Dallas and College Station, 2 hours from Austin, and 2 hours from Houston.

Successfully establishes, delegates, and maintains authority and accountability.
Exemplifies the components of effective personnel policies, procedures, and practices.
Recognizes situations that call for independent judgment and quick thinking.
Openly communicates with the superintendent, faculty, staff, parents, and community.
