Basic Function

The Graduate Engineer is responsible for maintaining quality operating standards at the plant. These parameters will ensure the quality of materials necessary to fabricate our products. Responsibilities include evaluating all variables, analyze and improve processes, and reducing wasted materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain quality operating standards to strengthen the culture of quality in the plant.
  • Identify process improvements and critical activities for the plant and document key characteristics for the quality assurance.
  • Document the critical control variables to formalize and preserve a quality process. Communicating results with management and business leaders in the company.
  • Establish control criteria and verification of measuring equipment.
  • Generate action plans, in order to increase the degree of compliance within the facility.
  • Coordinate corrective, preventive, or quality improvement actions or
  • Ensure compliance requirements are followed to reduce future incidence from occurring.
  • Promote the development of the market orientation within the plant.
  • Participate in the improvement, research, and data collection and analysis projects assigned by the plant manager to support the Planned Maintenance, Quality management, Focused improvement and Training pillars of the Operational excellence Strategy.

Education And Experience Requirements

  • BS/BA Degree in Engineering or Related Field (Industrial, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, Quality, or Process)
  • Relevant (internship) experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge or understanding of general manufacturing processes and claims management.
  • General knowledge of Management Systems models (Quality and Process Control, Planned Maintenance, Project management, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
