Job Description:

Assistant Director of Nursing – Wicklow

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing to join them on a full-time perm basis. The Assistant Director of Nursing will work closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee the nursing department and ensure the highest quality of patient care.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Clinical Nurse Manager to progress to the next level.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assisting in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures

Providing leadership and support to nursing staff

Monitoring and evaluating nursing care and patient outcomes

Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care

Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements

Participating in quality improvement initiatives

Providing education and training to nursing staff

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Registered with NMBI

2 years Management experience in a senior post

Strong leadership and communication skills

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
