CALCULEX, Inc. is seeking FPGA-based digital design developers with the following education, experience, and skills:Education Minimum BSEE with digital design track, MSEE welcomed Experience Minimum 5 years in digital design with FPGAsTechnical Skills10 years' experience designing processor cards including System on Chip, based on discreet microprocessors or S.O.C.5 years' experience designing IO cards, Data Acquisition CardsExperience with routing, laying out, fabricating, and assembling CCAsKnowledge of Intel/Altera FPGAsKnowledge of Quartus development environmentsExperienced with ModelSim design simulationFamiliar with timing constraints and time domain crossingsFamiliar with PCI Express and other high-speed SERDES protocolsFamiliar with integration of 3rd-party logic IP coresFamiliar with imbedded hard-core and soft-core microprocessor designsComplex problem solving and digital design troubleshootingTechnical TasksEvaluate and select FPGA components for digital circuit designEvaluate and select external DDR memories and clock distribution componentsSupport schematic developers and embedded firmware developersDesign and document FPGA-based data manipulation algorithmsDevelop test plans and procedures for FPGA-based algorithm designsProvide early FPGA outer layer pinout compiles for PCB schematic development Provide FPGA logic support for prototype and 1st article PCB testingProvide FPGA support for system-level multi-PCB integration testing Generate and support generation of logic design documentationSupport generation of marketing materials and user training documentationSupport user-submitted FPGA functional design problem resolution CALCULEX is an aerospace systems, embedded firmware and PC software developer, and electronics manufacturer.
