We have an opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in our EDN Aviation/Velocity Van Nuys, California location. This position is responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs as well as communicating effectively with team members within the business unit.

Key responsibilities include:

Communicates with Customers weekly/daily for in work jobs, via phone, email Resolve customer questions on jobs/quotes Manage customers quote approvals and present and re-quote if needed Confers with production, shipping, warehouse or common carrier personnel to expedite or trace shipments Answers questions from customers or individuals on how a product operates or directs them to the person able to assist them Ensures that quotes are processed through the quoting process in a timely manner Answer questions about warranties or terms of sale Suggest customer solutions when needed

Abilities and Qualifications

Ability to coordinate and work well with other departments and individuals within organization Have strong team orientation Competency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers Excellent interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills Strong analytical skills, and the ability to summarize data and trends clearly Ability to work overtime, shift/weekends when needed Knowledge of the aviation industry and airline MRO preferred

At least 1 year of customer service experience in commercial aviation, preferably with an FAA repair station. Minimum of a H. S. Diploma or GED.
