Job Overview General Summary of Position: Responsible for maintaining kitchen work areas, equipment and utensils. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Contributes to achievement of established department goals. Participates in multidisciplinary quality and service improvement teams. Performs other duties as assigned, including washing dishes by hand or in a machine, cleaning equipment, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Transfers supplies and equipment within and between storage and work areas. Complies with MedStar/Sodexo HACCP policies and safety training. Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in?service training. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. Prior work experience not required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred. Professional presentation and ethical conduct.
