Position Overview
The Junior Financial Analyst will support the Director of Finance and the operational teams in their development and management of critical financial models and executive-level presentations. This role is responsible for being an integral resource for the operational teams. This role will help management forecast, budget, and interpret the business results and understand the ‘why’ behind the numbers.
Develop data models and hypotheses, monitor observed results, and present/ discuss results with the team:
Support the continuous development and implementation of strategic and financial planning/analysis projects, best practices, and process improvements
Coordinate with the Director of Finance to develop and report on specific performance metrics
Recommend process improvements to achieve enhanced financial performance
Conduct timely and accurate routine statistical analyses (with evaluation) of large data sets:
Perform routine reporting requirements within the Finance/Accounting and Admin teams
Coordinate with Senior Financial Analysts to perform
monthly/quarterly/annual
variance analyses
Ad hoc financial analysis
Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting requirements:
Assist the Finance team and various operational teams on forecasting, budgeting, and other miscellaneous financial reporting as needed
Support financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting requirements
Other duties as assigned
Location Requirement:
This position is required to be in Phoenix, Arizona and required 4 days/week in office.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
1+ years of financial or business analysis experience (including internships)
Proficient in Excel; Financial Planning systems and Power BI experience a plus.
Comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic, positive and collaborative environment
