Description

We are currently looking for someone to join our team as a morning Guest Services Associate at our location in Burlington, VT, Willard Street Inn. This position will have a focus on breakfast set up/prep and is ideal for someone who is an early riser and enjoys working both on their own, and with other team members. The right candidate will be detail-oriented, and able to create work for themselves without constant supervision. If you love interacting with people in a positive work environment, apply now

We are looking for someone to work at least 20 hours a week, starting at 7:00 a.m. Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

•Brewing coffee and setting up self-serve coffee and tea stations
•Preparing and setting up our small plate breakfast bar for the morning breakfast service from 8-10
•After breakfast service, assist with the front desk where needed ie. answering phones, responding to emails, making reservations, daily cleaning tasks, etc.
•Along with another team member, making sure the buffet remains clean and stocked throughout the service
•Prepping fruit, vegetables, spreads, and pastries for the following day's breakfast service
•Baking pastries and bread
•Assisting with guest requests when needed

Qualifications

•Cooking experience is not required but an enthusiasm for it is
•Displays impeccable interpersonal, time management, organizational skills, and customer service skills
•Has experience answering telephone calls and troubleshooting stressful situations
•Must have graduated high school, received a GED or equivalent
