Overview: The Programmer will perform tasks related to developing and modifying web-based applications, client-server applications and/or OS scripts for process automation, using skill and knowledge of application development in a Relational Database Management System or Structured Query Language (SQL). This includes implementing and integrating commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software into existing architecture; planning, documenting, coding, modifying, testing and implementing computer programs; documenting test conditions, creating test data, testing programs, and analyzing results; performing analysis of program and production problems; and using a Systems Development Methodology.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and design new or existing system enhancements.

Work closely with the user to define requirements.

Write program specifications.

Research the use of new technologies.

Work on multiple project requests.

Apply programming and analysis skills with a detailed knowledge of the application.

Coordinate system testing and assist users with acceptance testing.

Assist in the development and maintenance of data and process models.

Assist in the development of work plans and project organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required.

8 years of experience in a similar role.

For Senior position: 8 years of experience in a similar role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and leadership skills.
