Burtch Works is currently looking for a temporary Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) consultant to partner with leadership to assess our current financial planning models and to provide recommendations and solutions that align to management’s financial strategy. In addition, the consultant would implement the related recommendations and provide guidance to leadership to sustain the models to support their processes. The consultant may also be tasked with providing recommendations on best practices for financial reporting and overall budgeting processes. Let’s continue to grow a special company together DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate with leadership to assess financial analysis, planning and reporting needs. Develop new monthly financial reports for multiple companies, including income statement, balance sheet, and statement of cash flows. Build financial models and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making and assess the financial impact of potential business initiatives, incorporating relevant financial inputs that fit the needs of the business. Provide recommendations on methodologies, tools and systems to improve analytical decision making. Assist with monthly analytical & business reviews. Implement a sustainable process with the team leveraging the models and reports developed with the team. Support budgeting planning and strategy. Evaluate and recommend innovation opportunities and efficiencies. Other duties as assigned. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis. Proven experience in the budgeting and forecasting processes. Advanced Excel and database management skills with demonstrated track record of building financial models that are adaptable to the needs of the organization. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights. Excellent verbal and written communication, including preparation of presentations, written reports and presentation those items. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment, collaborating effectively with team members. Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word). Willingness to travel if needed. PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Experience working effectively both remotely and in-office (if needed). Knowledge of professional services and staffing companies a plus. Exposure to companies with multiple entities and locations EDUCATION B.A / B.S degree in Accounting or Finance required.
