Summary

Conducts extensive recruitment activities in Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas and designated states to promote Baptist University College of Osteopathic Medicine (BUCOM) to prospective students. Under the general supervision of the Associate Director of Admission, the incumbent is responsible for shifts equal to 40 hours per week and are subject to hours beyond the normal workday.

Responsibilities

  1. Conduct extensive recruitment activities in Tennessee, Mississippi, Arkansas and designated states to promote BUCOM to prospective students.
  2. Assist with on-campus recruitment activities for prospective students.
  3. Advise students on program requirements and admission procedures.
  4. Coordinate and process prospective students and contacts in the prospective student pool, in order to encourage and facilitate enrollment of qualified applicants.
  5. Develop and cultivate relationships with key individuals, groups, and institutions to recruit the best candidates for BUCOM.
  6. Performs related accountabilities/responsibilities as required or directed


Requirements, Preferences and Experience

REQUIRED

Knowledge/Education: Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field

Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of experience in student affairs, university admissions/recruiting, sales, or marketing

Licensure, Registration, Certification: Valid driver's license. Liability insurance

DESIRED

Knowledge/Education: Master's Degree in Education, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar field

Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of experience in student affairs, university admissions/recruiting, sales, or marketing. Work with medical students and/or graduate programs preferred.
