Responsibilities:

Responsible for installation, configuration, and administration of (JBoss EAP 6.4 & 7.1, JBoss Operations Network (JON), MQ 7.5, V-Shell 4.4.3 and Control-m) software on Aix and Windows Machines for highly available environments.

Involved in Capacity planning for JBOSS Upgrade from V6.4 to V7.1 and Oracle DB upgrade from 12C to 19C and Performance testing activities for upgrade.

Upgraded JBOSS EAP from V6.4 to V7.1 on AIX and Windows environments.

Successfully migrated the JBOSS on multiple environments.

Successfully created Application-level Clustering on JBOSS for High availability

Installed SSL, Server, and Digital Certificates

Applying Fix patches to JBOSS on AIX and Windows as per VA Scan report

Deploying the New releases of EAR Applications on JBoss in multiple Environments

Integrating the interfaces like MQ, SAP, and Sabrix with JBoss and troubleshooting the issues while connecting with app server

Involved in Application support and maintenance activities.

Successfully implemented PRTG monitoring tool to Monitor JBoss Server health via as per client additional requirement.

Generating/analyzing Thread dump and heap dumps.

Installation and configuration of V-shell software on windows Server

Creation of new Sftp interfaces and providing necessary security permissions.

Migration of V-shell to the new versions

Performing DR activities

Designed multi-AZ, VPC and built the web and application servers inside the VPC.

Created the automated build and deploy process for applications, re-engineering setup for legacy applications for better user experience and to follow CI/CD.

For application delivery and content management, I have used Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Bitbucket, AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Code Commit, AWS Code Build, AWS Code Deploy.

Implemented AWS solutions using S3, EC2, EBS Volumes, Elastic Load Balancing for the Auto scaling groups and provided the auto-healing options for the business.

Integrated many components to Jenkins like GIT, Artifactory, SonarQube, etc. to give the stability to the CI/CD and managed the plugins.

Migrated many legacy applications to AWS from on-prem to micro services.

Maintain the user management, IAM across the middleware/cloud engineering teams and control the access permissions.

Configured CloudWatch metrics for the detailed application monitoring.

Supported production applications 24/7 on a weekly on-call basis.
