Kenworth Northeast is an independently owned truck dealership supplying the northeast region with The World's Best® heavy and medium duty trucks and parts. We are looking for a motivated and reliable Warranty Administrator to work at our Buffalo, NY location. The Warranty Administrator assists in the coordination and communication of the Warranty Department; performs a variety of administrative tasks related to the processing of warranty claims.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Files all warranty claims for the outside parts salesmen; files all warranty claim hard copy in chassis files or the applicable engine claim files.
  • Files warranty claims - various customers to be determined.
  • Follows-up on all warranty claims; calls DSM to get policy for customer, files pre-approved policy request when it applies.
  • Works with Paccar Warranty Analyst when no problem found, claim denied or any extenuating situations in which a claim should get paid.
  • Processes pre-delivery inspection (PDI) forms when a truck is sold and forwards completed forms to the required department.
  • Acknowledges warranty claims and packing slips.
  • Prints daily warranty receivables and sends to stores for review; posts statements/credit memos as required.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor
What You Will Need:
  • Experience in the heavy-duty or automotive industry is a plus.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and customer service skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Must be organized, detail-oriented and self-motivated.
