Robot Welder Programmer and Operator

Hydrofarm LLC is an EEO employer - M/F/Vets/Disabled SUMMARY A Robot Welder Programmer and Operator is responsible foroperating and maintaining robotic welding machines. This role includes settingup equipment, programming the robot, performing welding tasks, and ensuringquality control of the welded products.Full time PositionStarting Pay is $22-28 an hour, based on experienceShift Monday-Friday:7am-3:30pmBenefitsInsurance Benefits after 30 days of employmentPaid Holidays after 90 days of employmentTwo weeks paid vacation accrued within one yearDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Program, set up, and operate robotic welding machines.Fulfill daily production requirements assigned by work orders orthe production manager.Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to understand weldingrequirements.Adjust welding parameters and programs as needed.Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of robotic weldingequipment.Inspect finished welds to ensure quality and compliance withspecifications.Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personalprotective equipment.Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to optimizewelding processes.Conduct regular assessments of the robot throughout the day.Report production orders on a daily basis.Perform other duties as assigned. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Welding experience is a plus.Must be able to read a tape measure.Must have basic computer skills.Blueprint experience is a plus.Must be able to stand for extend periods of time.Forkliftexperience.Adapt to hot/cold environment,humidity, dust, and noise. ADDITIONALNOTESSafety Glasses - Company provided - Required while in the shop.Industrial work shoes or boots required while in the shop.Proper PPE must be worn for the job - Company provided.Hearing protection - Company provided/Recommended.Must wear long pants.Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
