The over $100B annual GNSS Receiver market is ripe for disruption and TrustPoint intends to lead that revolution with our microsatellite based commercial infrastructure and innovative positioning and timing services.The PositionWith locations outside Washington DC and in Silicon Valley, TrustPoint is currently seeking a full time Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and development of complex, high-reliability printed circuit boards (PCBs) for space-bound systems. The Senior Electrical Engineer will play a crucial role in pushing the boundaries of what's possible in space technology. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to drive innovation in a startup setting.We'll Expect You To...Design and develop advanced digital and RF PCBs specifically for space applications, ensuring robust performance under extreme conditions.Lead mixed-signal and RF systems design, including link budget analysis and system optimization.Manage the entire lifecycle of PCB development, from conceptual design to hardware implementation and testing.Conduct rigorous testing and validation of new boards, troubleshooting issues and ensuring reliability and compliance with space standards.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to integrate PCBs with other system components.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies.You'll Need to Have...B.S. or higher in Electrical Engineering or a related field7-10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, with at least 4 years focused on designing PCBs for space applicationsProfound expertise in mixed-signal and RF system designProven experience in bringing up and testing new boardsMust be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. government, due to the nature of the work involving sensitive technologyWillingness to relocate to Northern VirginiaAbility to work effectively in a high-paced, startup environmentExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsCultural FitThrive in a start-up environment.Effective communication style that instills a culture of optimism and positivity.Sense of humor and ability to proactively problem solve.Encourages colleagues to think and plan strategically while executing well tactically.Works well with all company levels and disciplines (i.e. Legal, HR, etc.).Willing to "roll up sleeves" in a new venture, working closely with colleagues.Compensation and BenefitsThe selected candidate will be competitively compensated with salary, stock options, and other standard startup benefits.
