Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Driver Daily Pay Available Active Day has an available opportunity for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Driver to join our team This is a dual-role position giving you the opportunity to serve our members in center and on the road. CNAs assist members with activities at our daycare centers, including personal and medical care, meals, and on- and off-site social activities. As a Driver you need to enjoy driving, have a safe driving record and a passion to serve others in the community. We will teach you the rest As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to participate in benefits programs, including: Paid Time Off (PTO) Medical/Vision Dental 401(k) And the pleasure of working in a FUN environment with GREAT people Responsibilities As CNA your responsibilities include: Assist members with daily living and personal care activities as needed (e.g., arrival and departure, eating, ambulation, transferring, therapies, restroom assistance, etc.) Through direct interaction and observation, assist the interdisciplinary team in reviewing members behaviors and medical needs; provide timely and compassionate prescribed medical and physical care per daily goals. Assist in the planning and facilitation of creative and diverse therapeutic recreational programs and encourage member participation. Serve meals and snacks and clear tables; assist with feeding as needed. Ensure the safety of members by monitoring activities, keeping a sanitary, clutter-free environment, and participating in safety training; actively contribute to creating and maintaining a clean, orderly, bright, and welcoming center. In addition to having fun and putting a smile on our members faces, your responsibilities as a Driver / Shuttle Driver include: Ensuring members are transported safely whenever they are in your care Assisting members with on- and off-boarding and with any special needs during transport. Ensuring the company vehicle is member-ready at all times: sparkling clean and free from obstacles as well as in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly. You want to make sure the vehicle carrying precious cargo is in perfect running order Qualifications Your qualifications for this great dual role will include: High school diploma or equivalent and current CNA certification. At least 21 years of age. At least one year of full-time equivalent experience in a health care setting preferred. Valid driver's license and state/vehicle-specific driver credentials. This is a physical job, after all we are ACTIVE Day As a result you will need to be able to: Push, pull, bend, squat, turn, pivot, transfer and lift at least 50 pounds Repeatedly exit and enter the vehicle to assist members with on- and off-boarding. Able to pass required physical exams including Department of Transportation (DOT) physical. Successful results of background check, motor vehicle report, drug testing and any other state-specific requirements.
