The Role The Principal Consultant is responsible for the full relationship management lifecycle concerning the company's current customer base. This role is responsible for understanding customers’ business and creating a technology success roadmap that aligns with company IT standards, clients’ budgets, and goals. The Principal Consultant is a strategic advisor to the client for technology and business. Essentials Duties and Responsibilities Work with active customers to develop a deep understanding of their business needs and translate those needs into IT requirements that satisfy their demands Receive requests for new needs - service and product requirements- from customers and provide timely responses Conduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to active customers to help keep their standards up to date and secure; help the customer stay in technology and compliance alignment Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions/services and manage client expectations throughout the lifecycle of the account Manage the complexity of Managed IT services proposals, contracts, lease agreements, and service level agreements with other technology vendors that the client may have – be an advocate for the client Stay up to date on industry/technology/world changes and understand how these changes affect clients Performs other duties as assigned Additional Duties and Responsibilities Document internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities Understand processes by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the training Universities of the company; participate in a mentoring program for role Assist and oversee the management of MIS Solutions' IT Policies and Procedures. This includes authority to make decisions regarding the security, availability, and confidentiality of sensitive data. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Business and/or Marketing, or equivalent experience Fluent in business acumen and trends to help serve as a valued advisor to clients in realms of people, process and technology 2-3 years of client experience driven account management tasks, preferably in an IT environment 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing role Alignment with company core values of Lead, Grow, Do, and Serve Excellent knowledge and familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Possess a track record of managing the client fulfillment process from start to finish. Demonstrated success with multi-tasking and the ability to adapt to ever-changing environment while maintaining a clear focus on all priorities Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong organization skills and acute attention to detail Enjoys working with customers and external audiences and can see issues from client-centric, vendor-centric, and business-centric viewpoints Budgeting experience a plus While this is not a technical role, the successful candidate is adept at carrying out technical conversations and communicating technical concepts. Workplace & Travel The workplace for the Principal Consultant position is primarily the office with some WFH options and also includes customer sites.

Traveling to client sites and other meeting locations will be required.

The vast majority of traveling will be daily, via automobile. Other travel may be possible in this position under certain circumstances.
