Summary:

The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications.

Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities.

Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures.

Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.

 

Skills:

Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials.

Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information.

Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production.

Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

 

Top Skills:

5+ years of work experience in Supply chain /Business Operations role

Strong analytical and data management skills

High Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced excel skills: VBA & Macro

 

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED required

Bachelor’s degree is required

8-10 years related experience required

 

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of experience in SCM, data and business analytics for a marketing, sales and/or operations functions

Collaborative mindset to work with the leadership to continuously improve the methodologies and messaging based on changing priorities and business environment

Experience of working with Telecom, Consumer Electronics, Client and/or Retail industry in supply chain, business, marketing, finance and sales operations management strongly preferred

 

 

Compensation:

The pay rate range above is the base hourly pay range that Aditi Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position (compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, competencies, competencies, experience, location and end client requirements).
