Essential Functions:

  • Based at the Alps Alpine satellite office in Dublin OH
  • Responsible for the application engineering for Infotainment products for a key North American customer.
  • Working together with development teams in China and Japan as well as the manufacturing plant in Mexico, supporting meetings outside of normal business hours is expected.
  • Support customer development activities in the Dublin office, at the customer site, and during the test and development field test activities.
  • Areas of product knowledge include Apple Carplay, Android Auto, Radio, Media Streaming, Bluetooth, Vehicle network (A2B, CAN, LIN), and vehicle diagnostic protocols.
  • Support software releases, and flashing software upgrades.
  • Knowledge of Honda development process and Milestones
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, computer science, or equivalent discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Automotive Product Engineering and vehicle test activities.
  • Strong technical communication skills, attention to detail
  • Preferred: Japanese or Chinese language skills
