We take pride in providing our customers with premium products that stand the test of time. We are currently seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our dynamic and passionate team.

Job Description:

As a Maintenance Engineer at Chris Reeve Knives, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all equipment and machinery within our production facility. Your role will involve both preventive maintenance to keep our machines running efficiently, as well as troubleshooting and repairing any issues that may arise. You will work closely with the production team to ensure continuous and uninterrupted production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery to minimize downtime and maintain their optimal functioning

- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical, electrical, or electronic issues that arise in a timely manner to minimize disruption to production

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and routine maintenance tasks

- Collaborate with the production team to identify areas of improvement and implement solutions to optimize equipment performance

- Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards during maintenance activities

- Source and order replacement parts and supplies, as needed, to ensure timely repairs and maintenance

- Provide training and support to production staff on basic machine maintenance to promote a culture of preventive maintenance within the organization

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems and equipment

- Experience in preventive maintenance techniques and practices

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Salary Range : $82,000 to $96,000

Job Type: Full Time
